Online Permit Sales Update

Originally, the OFSC planned to have the new online permit sales site launch on October 1st.

However as of today, the exact launch date remains a bit of a moving target. The OFSC has done (and continues to do) everything possible to get the site up and running, including addressing MTO requested site revisions and follow ups on the Government of Ontario required consumer privacy and risk assessments.

The new target is now late October, and the OFSC is pushing hard to accommodate pre-December 1st sales. As soon as the “Go” button is pushed, a Club Bulletin will be issued making that announcement, in addition to a provincial media release and being in touch with all sledding chat rooms and forums.

Meanwhile, curious snowmobilers who visit the OFSC site looking for a permit will see information updating them on the status of the program.
