OFSC Announces New Sled Insurance Program

(Barrie, ON. June 11, 2009):  Canadian snowmobilers are celebrating the launch of Power Sports Insurance Solutions. The new and unique to Canada program will benefit this country’s snowmobile industry by making sled insurance more accessible, available and affordable. York Fire & Casualty Insurance Company (York) and the Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations (CCSO) announced Power Sports Insurance Solutions today at the International Snowmobile Congress, the world’s largest annual snowmobile convention.

Fire & Casualty’s Snowmobile Insurance Program

Mississauga, June 11, 2009: York Fire & Casualty Insurance Company (York) is proud to announce its full-scale entry into the Ontario snowmobile insurance market. York and the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) have entered into a five-year agreement, beginning September 1st, 2009, whereby York will provide the OFSC membership a snowmobile insurance program specifically designed to meet their needs. The new Power Sports Insurance Solutions program includes York’s full suite of personal lines and commercial lines insurance products. In exchange, the OFSC will exclusively endorse York’s Power Sports Insurance Solutions program to its members.
 

So what about Sledder’s Choice?

As noted in the June Main Trail, the OFSC is no longer associated with the Sledder’s Choice program, which has now been terminated. However, all existing Sledder’s Choice clients will have the opportunity to transfer easily into the new Power Sports Insurance Solutions program through Believer Plus Insurance Brokers.
