Paudash Annual General Meeting

The 2009 Annual General Meeting for the Paudash Trail Blazers is set for:
 

On the agenda will be nominations for new and returning Executive positions, a financial report, formal recognition and presentations to club members for the 2009 season and several other items of club business.  The AGM is open to all members and it is an excellent opportunity to meet the Executive and to raise topics of interest as well as ideas for future consideration and discussion.

The club's Annual General Meeting and Landowner Appreciation Meeting is being held on Sunday April 26th at 11:00 am at the Wilberforce Community Centre. If you are a landowner or a permit purchaser please plan to attend the meeting. This is the meeting that we set aside each year to answer and address any questions or concerns that our members or landowners have. We will also be electing members to our clubs board of directors for new three year terms. If you are interested in joining the board please contact Kim on the club's 1-800 number as soon as possible. We will be presenting our top permit sellers with plaques of appreciation for the effort that they put forth each season.

We hope to have a good turnout - see you at the meeting!

Formal Nominations for 2009-10 Season:

Several positions on the Executive are coming up for renewal this year. 

We are also accepting nominations for new members.  If you would like to be on the board, you simply need to be a member of good standing with the club (i.e. be a permit holder) and be nominated by someone else from the club before or at the AGM.

Serving on the Board is an excellent opportunity to become more involved with the Club and to bring your unique ideas, skills and talents to the group.  The Board meets roughly once a month in the busy season which translates into roughly 7 meetings a year.  Meeting times and places are scheduled to work for the best convenience of the group - sometimes at the Club House, sometimes in Peterborough.  You do not need to be local to serve on the board.  Much or the Executive work is done these days by phone and email so that should not be a concern. 

It is also possible to arrange for you to attend a board meeting or two which gives you a chance to meet the group and have a chance to give it a "trial run" and see if this might be something you would like to do.
