Yamaha has a “Zero Tolerance” position with respect to alcohol, and reserves the right to refuse a ride to anyone suspected of having consumed any alcohol.
Demo Rides are subject to suitable trail conditions and provided on a first-come first- served basis.

After the over-whelming success of the Yamaha Power Tour last year at our club's 30th Anniversary, Yamada Motor Canada approached us once again to host another event. What an honor for our Club! All the publicity (and that donation from Yamaha last year) sure doesn't hurt either.

Best of all, we get a chance to demo the new 2009 Yamahas: Phazer, Vector, Nytro and Apex. Maybe even one of the new FX Nytro RTXs or the RS Venture GTs! And all feature clean, quiet, fuel-efficient 4-stroke technology coupled with world-class standards in reliability and incredible torque that the industry just can’t stop raving about. All for free, and all at our Club Cookout!

The format for the day will roughly follow last year's event. Team Yamaha arrives early on Saturday morning to set up, unloads the sleds, and gives our test course a trial run. Demo rides start around 9:30AM and run for the balance of the day. Ideally, the team is loaded back up on the trailers and pulling out before darkness but that still leaves plenty of time to give all the sleds a try.

As for the Cookout... we will fire up the BBQs around 10:30AM and should be ready to start serving by roughly 11:00AM. We go until the food runs out. Any prizes and presentations are made around 1:30PM depending on the prize tables.

If you are able to donate a Prize or two for the gift table or can spare the day to volunteer and help with setup, on the BBQs, or clean-up, your efforts would be appreciated. Please contact Kim Tucker at the normal Club contacts (info in the bottom footer of this page) or even just show up on the day of the event and approach the volunteers on site.
